1st day in Changchun(7/9/09)
Today morning at ard 6+ am, we finally reach Changchun… the weather is pretty cold but still ok,heard the temperature will drop till below -10 degrees or so before we go back to Singapore.
Ytd was a whole day of travelling and was super tired… slept at 3am,woke up at 5am thn go airport… my cousins,parents,sis and my darling sent me off…
Rch hongkong at ard 12pm and slack ard in the transit to w8 for our next plane to Beijing at 2:30pm…the weather was so hot,31degrees,almost lky Singapore sia… ate my 1st bowl of hongkong noodle called fresh shrimps wanton noodle or sumthing lky tt haha…was very hungry and ate every bit of it… after eating, we went to our gate and w8 for boarding… while doing so I smsed my parents and darling tru the internet cos I miss em a lot haha… on the plane to Beijing, be4 it could take off, im so tired tt I fell aslp unknowing, was shock to know tt we were alrdy in mid-air when I was woken up for my meal.
Rch Beijing at ard 6-7pm…the weather was a lot much colder…below 15degrees I thk… board the bus heading for the train station… the highway was ok but when we rch the city, it was jamming lky crazy… the agent was so afraid tt we would miss our train and thus ask us to get down and walk to the train station ourselves.. she said it will be a 30min walk but I thk we walked for an hr alrdy zz… the road is so messy, due to the traffic jam, drivers from the road in all sort of vechicles, was dangerous cos we can sometimes find ourselves in the middle of cars,motorcyles ON THE PAVEMENT… also,we can see ppl carrying their bagguage running to the train station… at times, we couldnt see the others and dere is a high possibility of us getting lost… I find the agent very blur… she call us walk to train station but our language in the bus,she say the bus will bring it over…but if tts the case, y cant we juz stay on the bus or to worse carry our language tgt wif us cos it shld be impossible for us to go Changchun without our language ma... also,when we were on our way rching the train station alrdy, the bus caught up…we were all sian diao… at the train station, we still had to walk further away from it to claim our luguage from the bus… was kinda long walk and quite jialat for me cos my lugauge the pulling thing spoil so I need to carry it… to look on a brighter side I juz take it as a training LOL... the situation at the train station was also chaotic… we took our language and squeeze our way in the entrance… once u give way to others, u wun be able to squeeze in le..the doors seem as if it will break down anytime lols…
On board the train, we get into our cabin, 6 beds per cabin…the space was super small and no doors… couldn’t slp at 1st but went to slp cos was too tired… but was kinda nice to slp wif the train noise and the train shaking ard haha…
The next morning we rch our destination…the weather drop much colder… we went out to the train station and cross the road to our bus… the traffic was horrible… the cars nv brake to even slow down to let u cross..they juz horn at u and expect u to make way…once I tried to hold an incoming bus for some of us to cross but the driver juz sped up heading onto me… I quickly move away in cold sweat…
After some times, we rch our hotel… the hotel was so unexpected..i search the internet be4 for the hotel and it looked damn nice,tall shinning building…here, its juz 6 floor high and look kinda run down… the repairs in the room was horrible too,eg: my bed had a broken wheel and they juz put bloks of wood to balance it… dere isn’t any internet but the sch set up for us but very lag and cant access some websites including blog(ask dear to help me post)… also, the hotel had a message shop beside it, those kinda yellow de…
Went ard the city to explore wif weichuan and yuanmao… nth much to shop,nth much to do too, sianz…. Got my china sim card and it cost 50rmb,prepaid…
Tmr will be my 1st day to work..heard its in a solar exhibition till ard 16 sept,after tt dunno do wad for the company le…
Srry if dere isn’t any photos but I forgot the bring a card reader for my camera zz…will upload em when im home k lols….will start taking pictures wif my phone le…
